Loved the pub, food, staff and location were all fantastic 😀

Walls are thin enough to hear guests in the next room, talk and snore. Bed was also very uncomfortable definitely needs to be replaced or a memory foam topper as a minimum. Its an old beautiful building so creaky floors are present.

Good choice of breakfast. The Full English was without baked beans and hash browns, which suited me well. The location is way out in the countryside with some narrow roads leading there.

A lovely traditional pub with super friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable, and the food was amazing — with far too many delicious puddings to choose from!

Bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable and room very basic. Unfortunately room smelled of fresh paint.

Food was outstanding, both at dinner and for breakfast the following morning. Very friendly staff, lovely ambience in the bar/restaurant and very good value for money. Location is great, easy access to both Hay on Wye and Builth Wells. Centre of a beautiful little village with parking right out front. Bar prices also really good. Look out for the most gorgeous cat you ever saw and who adores any fuss you will give him, Michael.

Room was coolish when we got upstairs after dinner, I could have asked for this to be rectified but didn't, so can't really criticise to be fair. Stairs, so be aware if mobility is an issue. Single flight, easy to navigate and not steep.

Lively old pub in beautiful location

The room was very comfortable. The bed was amazing. The staff were all very friendly. Poached eggs at breakfast were very good.

The walls are very thin and I could hear folk talking in the next room. My husband is deaf and I was afraid he would talk too loud and disturb people also I have to speak loud to him when we are in bed and he does not have his hearing aids in. Can’t be helped but the creaky floor boards. I was conscious of disturbing other people.
