nothing , it is the worst experience and the attitude of the staff is horrible

from the time i arrived they were in the plan for cheating me in the worst way which i could not never imagine. i had booked a 6 seater AC dorm ,First the non Cambodian staff who checked me in made me instead stay in a pod dorm with 10 beds ,slyly assuring me that the pod is better than the AC dorm . once in the pod, after 5 minutes i realized that wthe fan above me was not working and the AC was also too far away and so the wooden pod was extremely hot which made me stuffy. So, i came down to the reception asking for the dorm which i had booked originally. the non Cambodian staff again discouraged me saying that the pod is better, but still if refused to listen to him and asked to be shifted to my original 6 bedded dorm, so i was taken there ultimately but ALAS to my HORROR the AC WAS NOT WORKING here, they told me that within 10 minutes it would work , but it would not ,the cooling was extremely low and the temperature control did not work at all. the fan was also a small one and didnt help much in the hot summer heat , the room had no windows . it was already getting late going to be 3 pm, so i left the hostel since i had to go to the genocide museum.( i had only 1 afternoon left in Phnom Penh). i reached back the hostel at around 7 pm , and after sometime , i came to the reception to complain about it , the staff came to the room with a service boy , who could not help the cooling , What this staff told me was the most shocking . he said that SINCE I AM ONLY ONE PERSON IN A 6 BEDDED DORM FOR THE NIGHT , THE HOSTEL IS LOSING POWER BACK UP AND ELECTRICITY and so it is a LOSS FOR THEM SO THEY CANNOT HELP ME MORE and provide me AC. i also asked them if they could downgrade me and shift me to a dorm which had atleast AC, WHiCH HE SAID HE CANNOT DO IT.(because the only other dorm was the pod) this was my worst experience in a hostel in my years of travel. So, i took my bags and left the property immediately after 5 minutes shocked in disbelief.

The value for money is unbeatable if you book a bed in a dorm, but i wouldn't have feel safe as i was alone. The location is convenient to catch the airport shuttle.

The private room was expensive compared to other places and it was gloomy, the ventilation very loud.

We stayed 2 nights at the Double Room with Pool View. It has the basics of what we need. The room has both Aircon and fan. The windows and glass door are covered / blacked out from the heat and light. There is access to the shared balcony. The view is looking out to the neighbourhood and looking down to the pool. We didn't use the pool though. Pros: - Located close to the railway station and to the city centre at walking distance. Easily accessible by tuktuk - local street food stalls close to the hostel - Simplicity and cleanliness of the accommodation.

Cons: - the blackout sheets on the glass window and door aren't really sealed properly so the cool air from the Aircon was escaping from the room. - the shower water pressure is low.
