Hart's Camp

Location location location! Loved the hot springs and surrounding nature! We enjoyed the fire pit and roasting hot dogs and making s’mores. We didn’t mind but we did have to walk two miles to the trail head leading to the hot springs. Just something to be aware of in certain times of the year.

The RV we stayed in was not a good choice for three adults and two children. The bunk room’s beds were made for small children; they were short. We had anticipated grandma sleeping in there with the kids.

We really enjoyed our stay. We rented one of the cabins. We really enjoyed the little extra amenities.

Excellent get away spot with amazing views of the ocean

There are a lot of great amenities! Hot tub, pool, small gym, putt putt, all within walking distance and next to beach.

Check in process was clunky. Had 3 people at the front desk, all talking amongst themselves as I was checking in. Was handed a paper map and charged for my room. Then dismissed. The lock box and key for our stay was not made clear and left us problem solving in the rain. All of the windows in the airstream were left unlocked or open either from the previous stayers or from the cleaners. We did not learn this until mid night when a breeze slammed them open. We had not noticed as we spent the first evening cleaning out spiderwebs and bugs that got in. The airstream its self was cozy and comfortable. It was unfortunate that is was not clean.

The cabin was perfect for our family of 6. The playground was a bonus for the kids as well as mini golf. We also enjoyed having the use of the pool and fitness center especially in the evenings after going to the beach. We will definitely come back again for a family getaway.

Loved everything about this place.! Can’t wait to go again .
