Liked the location and ptoprrty

Bathroom not in the cabin. No water in the cabin. Exposed fiberglass insulation, exposed wiring and plywood floor. If you want a rugged cabin it you will like it.

quiet, secluded area with an adorable pond!

Jim was very flexible in our accommodations and was very cordial. If you want to be outside of Fairbanks and in a cabin, this is a good choice.

We came for the Northern Lights but the clouds blocked them.

Easy access to Fairbanks. Shops and restaurants close by. Quiet at night. Friendly, helpful hosts. Nicely appointed dry cabin, including fridge and microwave. Decent bathhouse. Pretty pond. I would stay here again.

Slow WiFi.

We loved this property!! It was small enough to feel secluded. The pond made the place feel majestic. We had a direct view of the pond. My husband really enjoyed his time fishing.

An outlet by the bed would have been helpful.

The first thing great thing i noticed about this property was the great customer service. The owners messaged ahead of time to welcome me and make sure i was good to go. Check-in and checkout was easy. The cabin itself was nice and clean and had a porch outside that had a great view of the lake. All facilities were clean. I recommend this place as it was quiet, relaxing, and just a good place to get back into nature and away from technology.

Perfect cozy comfy little cabin. I would love to stay here again if we come back to the area.

nice tranquil location

Well, where do I begin? I was impressed that almost all prior reviews were 5-star, and that’s the reason I booked the units. Unfortunately, that is not how we found it. We rented two units, both were poorly kept, dirty, and worn. The bedding and bed linens were old and worn, floors were dirty and creaked when you walked, the ceiling fans was covered with dust, as if not dusted in years, the bed was saggy in the middle, and the lighting was inadequate, with no lights or electric outlets near the bed, so that you had to turn on the single overhead light to read in bed or if you got up in the night. Breakfast was two frozen Jimmy Dean sausages that we were to stick in the microwave to cook ourselves. As noted in the rental information, there was no running water (showers or sink) in the room, but the nearby attached facilities were also marginal. The shower was so small that you couldn’t turn around or bend down, and the shower head was not adjustable, so it was impossible to wash certain parts of your body (and we are not big people). At best, this was on overpriced, disappointing glamping experience.
