The New White Lion

Amazing food and coffee. Lovely decor. Lovely little touches like chocolates in the room. Fresh milk in the fridge near the room for teas and coffees. Great array of teas coffees. Catering for different dietry requirements. Toiletries and bathrobes Great facilities. Friendly atmosphere. Well thought out layout. The owners had great knowledge of the area for walks, site seeing, local food and pubs, etc.

There was nothing I would change. Just a tiny little heads up. The jackdaws that roost near to the b&b are a bit noisy in the morning 🤣

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Mark and Karen were superb hosts and clearly take pride and care in providing a great experience for their guests, Everything, from the warm welcome to the super comfortable and pristine room and the tasty, well presented breakfast was top notch. Everywhere smells lovely and fresh too! The comfortable lounge area is a little oasis and the honesty bar a great touch, a lovely space to relax and round the evening off with a night cap. The New White Lion is a real gem, highly recommend.

Everything! Every aspect of the stay was excellent from the furnishings, the toiletries, the quality linens and all the complementary extras provided.

Very comfortable. Mark and Karen were great hosts. The breakfasts were excellent. Lots of complimentary treats, many made by Karen herself. A great experience all round - very happy to recommend!

nothing was wrong, all was perfect for us.

I would give it 10 out of 10 and rather wish we had our last night here rather than our first night as where are staying now feels very mediocre compared to the New Red Lion. We will definitely return. Everything was superb.

Too much to like so this stood out for us - Attention to detail, the warming welcome, the decor, the cleanliness, the chocolates in the room, the breakfast with home made hash browns, the fresh yellow roses on the breakfast table, the choice of breakfast, the white fresh cotton bedding, the smartly dressed host, the homely feel

Nothing to dislike, I get warm at night and the window was open it was a warm one. I could have asked for a fan though unless one was in the room and I didn’t look properly :-)
