It was located at a back of a quiet neighborhood. They offer onsite parking for extra NT$100 / day. Getting up the stairs with luggages was challenging, but the staff helped. The stair are small and narrow, but the room was very well decorated. It feels like my grandma's home with modern touch. It's easy to walk out to get food to eat for breakfast.

"Architektonisch interessante, sehr einfache Unterkunft im asiatischen Stil"

Wir haben die Unterkunft gebucht wegen des reduzierten asiatischen Architekturstils inmitten der Altstadt, der uns sehr gefallen hat.

Die Bewertung fällt leider so enttäuschend aus, weil die Unterkunft eher spärlich und nicht sehr charmant war, was sie wohl sicherlich in früheren Zeiten ausstrahlte. Für eine Nacht ist das ok, aber für 6 Nächte nicht ausreichend. Es gab nur einen Sessel, keine Tatamis auf der Ebene und so konnte eine Person nur im Bett sitzend lesen etc. Es gab kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad (10x40cm) und im gesamten Bereich bis auf zwei Haken und zwei Bügel keine für Kleidung etc., die alte Handbrause sprühte unregelmäßig max auf einer Höhe von 1,60, zu niedrig für meinen Mann und war sehr schlecht zu regulieren, der Plastikvorhang ließ sich schlecht auf dem Rohr verschieben, nachts gurgelte sehr laut die Fallleitung. Das alte Haus lies uns guten Anteil nehmen an dem Zugang der Nachbarn. Der Zugang zur Einheit war eine sehr schmale, steile Betonstiege, nachts unbeleuchtet, welche durch die nassen Pflanzen zusätzlich eingeschränkt wurde. Vieles von dem kann man als historisch annehmen und akzeptieren. Ich möchte nur erklären, dass es für uns leider mit nicht genügend Charme aufgewogen wurde. Die Eigentümerin hat stets umgehend auf Fragen über WhatsApp geantwortet und ihre hilfreichen Restaurant-Empfehlungen zugesendet. Wir sind nach zwei Nächten umgezogen.
