Quinta da Baldieira

We loved staying in this place a lot. There are so many wonderful things about it. It's such a quiet location, surrounded by nature, with great views all around. We got to stay in the cottage with a small private pool and it was a really pleasant experience. We did not see other people so it seemed like we had the whole place to ourselves and were able to spend quality time in the main pool area as well. There is private parking as advertised. There is a nice outdoor sitting area where we had our dinner. The kitchen is well-equipped. Everything was very clean. The bed was super comfy. This place is also very close to the town, Mondim de Basto - it's only a 10 min drive away. Yes, the access road is quite narrow as others have said but doable. We did not get lost as there are lots of signs to this Quinta on the road from Mondim de Basto - it was easy to follow. The host was very nice and accommodating. Overall, it was just such a nice experience and we felt well rested after staying there.

We loved everything. You have to be aware, however, that there are many insects around which is part of the experience of staying in such a natural place.

Não gostamos dos 700 metros de "caminho" ate a residência. Muito complicado. Uma só via estreita sem desvios se dois automóveis circularem em sentido contrário. A residencia Para duas pessoas é pequeno. Não tinha uma secretária ou local para colocar um PC ou ler.
