I think the hotel is over priced.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. When I had the internet issues, especially when I first entered, the staff kept trying every means and kept apologizing for the inconvenience. I thought it was nice of them. Also, the food was very goooood. It was both tasty and plenty. Apart from bad internet and power outages, the room was nice and clean. The location of the hotel was perfect for what I had gone to Uyo for, which was great.

I think that this hotel needs to step up their game in terms of their facilities. I have wanted to stay at Monty for some time but this experience fell short. I struggled with internet throughout my period of stay. At first, there was no connection in the room I was allocated. Then the other room suggested had no work table. We eventually got a room and I was given a router which made it better but resets after every hour. And, my God, the intermittent power outage, that was frustrating.

Reception is poor. Very long delay at check-in despite being the only guest being attended to. Terrible decision makibg hy hotel manager, with respect to welcoming guests. Response by staff when you call for services is poor. Jam-packed car park.

The room and food

My booking on Booking. Com was not reflected on making me to pay extra N10,000.00

The facility is neat. Good bed and bedding. Good food, but they did not provide pressing iron, so that customers can do their ironing if they choose to do it.

The refrigerator in the seating room of my private suite was not working and they did nothing about it even after my complaint.
