I loved the views and the architectural design of the house, I could walk around the house all day honestly. The staff are friendly and welcoming as well as the hosts who are also very accommodating, I even told Richard I'll definitely be back in the summer as the weather wasn't too great but still worth every penny, and let's not forget the amazing breakfast 😁

I would have liked to havebeen informed of the renovations underway. Thank goodness i wasn't home most of the time during the day - the banging was very loud. No water when i returned from a run for a shower.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the "Boat House", which was a beautiful room with direct access to the patio over the water. Absolutely stunning scenery, with lots of birds flying by. The four nights we stayed here offered peace, calm and an opportunity to recharge our batteries. The breakfast we had included was delicious, and the shared spaces were very comfortable. A special thank you to our wonderful host Richard, who checked in with us every day. He helped recommend activities for us, gave us tips on events in the area and made sure we always had everything we needed. We only met his wife Marisa briefly a few times, but she was absolutely lovely as well. We would definitely stay here again!

This is one of those hidden gems that every traveller should look for. The most peaceful and gorgeous setting on the edge of the water. A kayak and pedalboat available for guests. Lovely setting, and a treat to sit out at night on the edge of the water and watch the reflections in the water. A hearty breakfast for an extra fee. Peaceful music in the communal spaces, great seating and places to relax. My room was up a steep staircase which meant my view of the mountain was great. The owners and staff were friendly and couldn't be more attentive. Highly recommended for a stop in Cape Town. I hope to be back. Especially with such easy access (by car) to the sunrise at Surfer's Corner, Muizenberg.

I liked the view from my room and the Crow's Nest view - just a warning for those with mobility issues to ask for one of the rooms on ground floor.
