Imbriani Guest House

Hotel is a portion of a larger building. The advance communication from the proprietors was pretty good as far as accessing the unit. Yet, when we arrived late on a Saturday night, we couldn't get the main door from the street to open. Luckily, the proprietors, Fabiana and Ugo, were onsite to help someone else and assisted us to get into the building and the room. The room was comfortable and quiet. Good AC. The window faced into an inner courtyard and we could hear the church bells peeling in the morning. We had asked for a water kettle to make tea in the morning and were told one would be delivered to us, but this didn't happen. Not a big deal, but a warm cup of tea before starting the day would have been nice. The neighborhood is busy and didn't appear especially walkable as we approached, but there are side streets with eateries and less traffic very near by. We were in the room for only 12 hours, but did rest well and did enjoy the brief stay. Would absolutely consider staying here again.

Fort Knox security system; dark, claustrophobic room; terrible lighting; uncomfortable bed and flat pillows, and not enough towels and skimping on bath products.

Area apartment facilities. Courtyard.

Shower did not drain, also, it could do with a deep clean.
