Beautiful Kathmandu Hotel

Breakfast was traditional nepali food with option for western fare. Always tasty. The staff was nicely attentive to my needs and always asked me first thing in the morning if I needed anything. The manager checked in daily. He was very kind and allowed me to stay a few hours past checkout which allowed me more time in Kathmandu before my flight. Good security, someone at the desk 24/7. Never got the chance to try the pool, since my schedule was packed. Great central location.

The only thing I missed was a good cup of coffee. They had a powder instant coffee.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a late flight and they allowed us to stay past checkout time. The room was very clean and comfortable with great aircon and a wonderful breakfast as well.

Het personeel was dag en nacht heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De receptie zorgde voor alle vervoer en stelde een citytrip voor op uw maat geschreven. Ook bewaarde ze je bagage tijdens een trip naar een ander locatie. In het restaurant kun je zeer lekker eten. En tot slot is er een prachtig zwembad(je) op het dak met zicht op de Himalaya.

Voor ons was alles prima, doe zo verder.

Pool war echt zu kalt 😅

Right around the corner from a busy street in Kathmandu, it provided a lovely little break away from the hustle and bustle. I could see the Himalayas frome window in my room (but I had to shift a bit and look right, because the direct view is just to a building next door) Beautiful view of the city from the rooftop, complete with (quite small) pool

The pool is not as large or as beautiful as the photos can lead you to believe. It’s a little tatty, and the limescale on the glass walls mean they’ve seen better days. I changed my stay two to one night, and had a confusing conversation with the man on the desk who insisted I pay the commission for the booking in cash, even though it did not match the amount quoted on Booking.com
