Beautiful Kathmandu Hotel

Stayed here before and after a trek. My room before was awful - tiny, dirty, smelled like sewage, super loud hall, and there were hundreds of pigeons living right outside the window constantly making noise. The room after was much better but still left a bad taste in my mouth. The nice things I have to say are that one of the managers is super friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast is decent. However, there are much nicer options in Thamel.

The room after was much better and more like what was pictured in photos. There were a few positives though: free breakfast (which was pretty good), a really friendly and helpful manager, and convenient location in Thamel. Honestly would look elsewhere - there are better places to stay in Thamel.

Compared to other places we stayed, this was a bit more expensive. Hotel could have been a bit cleaner, but nothing major. When I stayed there was really noisy building work happening at the hotel opposite- not their fault but it was annoying!

Nicely located, calm but close to the center. Great hot shower and everything you need on a good quality standard :-) Also, the staff was very friendly and engaged.

This hotel is a perfect little relaxation hub in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Thamel. Beds are super comfortable. Rooms are clean and decorated well. Breakfast is quite simple but still very tasty. The swimming pool is real gem. The best of all though was the staff, particularly the manager on the front desk. He was very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Highly recommend.
