"European flair in a traditional Japanese spa town"

It was fun to have a pension experience with dinners and breakfast provided. Everything was tasty. Dinner drinks not included but there was a good wine list to go with the continental dinner cuisine. Really nice onsen bath inside with genuine local hot spring water (full of minerals, very hot, slightly sour) in the wood & tile tub.

Hotel's wi-fi was weak and disconnecting all the time. (However, surprisingly NTT DOCOMO coverage was strong all over town including here so I was still connected).

"Exceptional"

温泉の中心部から少し離れていますが、湯畑の喧騒から離れて落ち着いて過ごせました。 料理がポイントの宿で夕食は一斉となります。オーナーがソムリエでワインの種類は充実しています。一緒に泊まった妻がアルコールが駄目なので私もノンアルコールにしたのでご主人は少し残念そうでした。ノンアルコールのワインとかがあったら気分だけでも楽しめたかもしれません。 施設は古くなっていますが、手入れは行き届いており、ベッドも快適でした。24時間の温泉があり、宿の中で何度も温泉を楽しめました。また行きたいところ思います。

"溫泉住宿體驗很棒，包含的晚餐更棒，可惜離湯畑遠一點"

晚餐餐點超棒！距離草津溫泉湯畑有一段距離，建議屋主提供免費的電動腳踏車，以方便房客租用，相信會增加更多房客入住的意願
