West Coast Trail Lodge

Good location. Nice room.

Thin walls and thin ceilings. Can hear noise after 11 pm and before 7 am.

I stayed for seven days, great place and location. I think a broom would have been nice to sweep sand out each evening.

Die Unterkunft ist gemütlichund absolut ruhig. in Gehdistanz hat es ein gutes Restaurant ( eines der wenigen). Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die West Coast Trail Lodge eignet sich sehr gut als Zwischenstopp auf der Marine Route, zum Besuch des Botanical Beach oder als Start/Endpunkt des Juan de Fuca Trails.

Ruhige Lage, sauber, absolut günstig, Personal war sehr bemüht, als das Schloss mit Code nicht funktionierte und reagierte schnell, bekamen ohne Nachfrage auch einen kostenlosen Saunabesuch zum Ausgleich für die Unannehmlichkeiten. Wunderschöne Umgebung, unbedingt Botanical

Kleiner dunkler Raum der mit zwei Doppelbetten vollgestellt war, Fenster auf Veranda, auf der alle Gäste vorbeigingen, keine Aufenthaltsraum mit Sitzmöglichkeit. Vorsicht bzgl. Frühstückseinkauf: Einziger Grocery-Shop im Ort nimmt nur Cash und einziger ATM im Pub war defekt, also cash mitnehmen oder Einkauf vorher erledigen.

Staff were wonderful, very friendly and very responsive. Also really enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge facilities.

It wasn’t very clean. The fitted sheet on the king was too small so we would often find ourselves lying on the mattress protector. We had 2 duvets— we requested an extra for warmth, and both duvets were incredibly stained, with some staining also on the sheets. We knew they were not permanent colour stains because there were solid bits of food / dried bodily fluids stuck to the stains. Also the bed wasn’t comfortable.
