Our appartement was cool, quiet, comfortable and sufficiently equipped. Beds were good & firm. We did not use the breakfast option but other guests did and it looked very good. The surrounding garden and countryside are very peaceful and beautiful and it is a very agreeable place. Pool is pleasant and secluded. The grounds are a bit overgrown and left to wild but we liked it. Owners are friendly and easygoing. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and bucolic tuscan experience, "far from the madding crowd". We read many reviews complaining about the drive to the house, which we cannot understand. It is a beautiful forest lane and perfectly ok. But if you care more about your car than about nature and if you want manicured lawns and sterile gardens go somewhere else and leave this place to us. We will definitely come back.

WiFi worked but through an opened / non-secured network (owner are fixing this). There is a bed usage rule based on number of occupants which we were not aware of. It was ok for us in the end but we recommend clarifying this before booking.

The area was amazing. The owners were super friendly and helpful. They prepared the best breakfast for us and the layout of the place was very nice.

There was a door connecting the kitchen and the bedroom which had low clearance and did not have any caution sign or indication - one can easily hurt.

Beautiful location in the middle of nature. There is a beautiful garden, nice pool and the rooms are generally clean and comfortable. The owners are friendly and organized a shared dinner when we where there. Also the ambiance is very romantic.

What we disliked was the road leading to the location. It is very small and narrow, with lots of overhanging bramble bushes that made a lot of nasty little scratches to our car. This is not well maintained by whomever owns the road. We ended up removing most of these overhanging twigs ourselves.

Building felt incomplete. Lots of spiders inside. Shower too small and leaked everywhere. Pool s area run down.

Very kind and friendly owners, beautiful location, very nice rooms, spacious free parking, if you travel by car it is perfect, you can enjoy nature.

A little complicated to find the way, I suggest you just follow the directions on google maps, not the car's navigator. The last kilometer before arriving is a dirt road, don't be scared, keep going and you will find this beautiful place, ideal if you plan to spend a few days close to nature.

It was like coming home in paradise. Lovely place to be and very nice hosts. The cottage was simple but complete, the garden full of blossom and hidden places. And the nights full of fireflies! A come back for sure.

Nothing to complain, it was a perfect stay.

The breakfast was fantastic. Home-made everything and served with great personal touch. Fabrizio was a phenomenal host, every time I had a need he was eager to fill it. He programmed into my phone a place to park in Lucca so that we wouldn't have to pay. He advised me on the train, he responded immediately when there was a problem with the wi-fi. My wife had some breathing problems when we first arrived and he did everything necessary for her to recover. His sister showed me how to use the laundry facilities.
