Adele Apartments

Really good breakfast, friendly staff giving us good advice on what to visit. Quiet and central, beautiful hotel!

Family hotel with comfy, clean rooms one block from the main square! Staff was superhelpful! Breakfast is very diverse and nice.

The room was clean and tidy, but a bit warm to my taste. At the breakfast, the butler was super kind.

The entrance to the parking lot is very narrow. And the doors are not secured, they can damage the vehicle.

Really enjoyed staying here. Apartment was clean, spacious (high ceilings), very modern kitchen (I opted not to cook, but all amenities are there - half refrigerator, dishwasher, pots/pans, dishes, utensils - also small dining table), bed was comfortable, desk/room to work and sofa. Excellent lighting. A very large amount of closet space as well, extra blankets/pillows in the wardrobes/closets. Apartment I was in (123) faces out to parking lots, so helpful to keep all shades down at times. Would appreciate paper napkins or paper towels in kitchen. Also, there were some "stink bugs" in the room/on a shade (Hungary had an infestation with these), which were upsetting, but I managed to remove two of them one night (threw them out the window) and another one the second night. Plants in the room are lovely but maybe some natural/eco-friendly solution sprayed by the windows could prevent them from coming inside (vinegar, soap, lavender). Room got a little loud all three evenings at 11 p.m. from upstairs neighbor, but it lasted 10 minutes at the most. Otherwise, very quiet neighborhood, 5-7 minute walk to Szechenyi ter with beautiful architecture, cafes, restaurants (Kiraly street), churches, and so forth. Staff was incredibly nice both at check-in and check-out and you can have breakfast in their terraced area of the hotel. Note: you check in at the Hotel, but the apartments are just across the street. I would recommend Adele!

The location is amazing, right at the main square. The staff was very welcoming. The rooms were spacious and clean, as well as the bathrooms. The furniture was modern and looked very nice. Parking available inside a courtyard upon reservation, which was affordable and easy to reserve.

Blinds would be useful in the common area where one of us slept and where we cook/eat. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, microwave and water boiler but a stovetop would be a great addition to complete this.

Charging Station

We loved this hotel. The room was very nice and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was also a very easy walk from the shops and restuarants.

Good location. The receptionist was kind and polite. I think it can be a good hotel in principle, but in our case it was very disappointing.

Before booking, I had a good look at all the available room types on Booking.com and chose the "Apartment" type, which is a spacious two-room accommodation for up to 4 people with a good design. We were only two, but I paid the higher price because we were going for a very special occasion. We ended up with a much smaller room for 2 people with a poorer design. Probably the worst room they had, noisy, we couldn't sleep well. On arrival, I reported the problem and that this was not what I paid and why I paid the higher price, but they claimed full occupancy and could not change the room. It was all blamed on Booking.com and that the pictures were mixed up between room types. This is not true, the one I prepaid for was obviously a totally different room in a higher category but I assume that they gave it to someone else who was staying for more nights with more people than we did. We got a cheap complimentary wine but they didn't even think of refunding us.
