Casa Menta

Wonderful 10 day stay at Casa Menta! Alex and Gemma are incredible- they go above and beyond to help. Beautiful place, sparkling clean. 2 minute walk to fabulous beach - can walk for miles but not great for swimming due to waves. Enjoyed watching sunset from rooftop terrace.

We were greeted by the owners at arrival. They were helpful in every way imaginable. A handy map and recommendations led to a most enjoyable stay.

Excellent location, plus so quiet ( that’s until 8 am so no problem, construction next door) no dogs at night Or partying next door. Owner was lovely. Good kitchen facilities.

La Csa Menta supero mis expectativas, bien ubicada para descanso, para surfistas, adecuado al precio, excelente atención y buenas amenidades altamente recomendable caminando a 15 min de la mejor area de restaurantes y bares.

This was an amazing stay with awesome hosts. The owners of the hotel make you feel right at home and keep you feeling that way. We are not fans of large hotels and we found this little gem. Ignore the small amount of reviews as it is only a year old, meaning everything is new and in perfect condition. The rooms are not super large but more than enough for us to be comfortable and the bathrooms are very clean and up to date. The majority of the rooms are on the second floor with the owners living on the third floor, the bottom floor in a common kitchen, TV room, outside and inside sitting. You will have access to a small dip pool and outside shower after beach time, the beach is just a quick 30 second walk and you might find it just to be you out there while watching the sunset. I can't say enough positive things about our stay of 8 nights, 9 days....they really did make us feel like it was out place to. Other perks to note, access to onsite washer and cloths lines, small items to buy, the kitchen is very nice with updated equipment, one main fridge, and a market that is about a 10 min or less walk. It is in a quite part of town but you need to be careful at night on the beach, but that is typical of Escondido.

Me pareció excelente la decoración la atención muy personalizada además que está súper cerca de la playa . Lo qué hay que tener en cuenta es que no reciben pago con tarjeta todo lo demás excelente.

Me gusto, limpieza, quietud, decoracion, excelente atencion de sus propietaros. No me gustaron calles aledañas, sin pavimento ni empedrado y muy solas y falta TV en los cuartos

La atención por parte de los dueños es personalizada, por lo tanto es excelente. Gemma y Alex estaban al pendiente de nuestras necesidades y comodidad. El lugar está a un paso de la playa. La habitación es muy cómoda y con vista al mar. Gracias por la atención.
