Rosewood Cottage

It was a self catering cottage so we either cooked or ate out! The cottage itself was small and cosy! Everything was very hi tech the cooker was small only 2 burners, there was also a microwave to be fair, an oven and a grill! The living room fire was lovely, really cosy to sit and look at! The shower was brilliant and the bed so comfortable! Also parking off the road for the car was an added bonus! The couple who leased the property lived in the cottage at the back of our accommodation, the woman came over and introduced herself and stated that we weren't to hesitate to get in touch if we had questions about anything! We saw the guy a few times but he has yet to speak!

The location was brilliant but what it didn't mention in the itinerary was the hills coming back up from the town! I really struggled with these unfortunately! The living room could have had a comfier couch and another coffee table! Maybe a basin for the kitchen sink too! There was a dishwasher but for the small amount of dishes we used it honestly wasn't worth the effort to put it on!

The cottage was well presented, it was warm and cosy. Everything needed was available. Great location, very nice hosts. I was very impressed with the property. It was decorated well and to a high standard. Overall it was great. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely little cottage in a great location. I had organised with Michaela from West Holidays for a birthday surprise for my boyfriend which was absolutely fantastic! The cottage stayed warm with the heaters, and the shower was very powerful & hot. 10/10 would recommend.

Very nice facilities - kitchen, laundry bathroom, sitting room. It was very rainy one day we were there and we were delighted to have a great kitchen where we prepared our meal that evening.

We were not able to book a taxi for our morning train and it was a bit of a hike walking to the station while dodging rain.

Absolutely brilliant. Spotless clean. Fully furnished. A gentleman checked if we needed anything very pleasantly. Lovely home away from home.

The property was nice and clean with modern fittings. Location was quite good as well. Our host John was a really kind person. There was some construction work going on outside the house which we were totally unbothered about. But he was so nice that he invited us over a lunch for the inconvenience. Overall, our whole stay was wonderful. Will definitely recommend and return. Lovely stay!
