"Perfect"

The cottage is in a lovely village, just 10 minutes drive from Ripon and a couple of miles from the beautiful Dales village of Masham. Stunning scenery all around and some wonderful walks.

"Excellent for our purposes for a 3-day stay"

Excellent small property inside with all that you could need provided. Situated in delightful village. Some noise from the road and farm track leading just behind property. Located behind a pub which was closed permanently when we were there. Good car parking therefore available in large pub carpark. Not sure of location if pub had been operating.

"Clean and comfy cottage in idyllic Dales village."

The cottage fulfilled our every Dales fantasy. Whisper quiet, warm and cosy, great beds, well equipped kitchen, and the hosts left us a lovely cake for our arrival. The town of Grewelthorpe is the quintessential Dales town with narrow lanes, stone houses and lovely rambles through the nearby Hackfell Woods. Make sure you bring supplies - there’s nothing to buy in town other than a meal and drink from the pub when it’s open. Sainsbury’s in Ripon is best for a big shop. The Coop in Masham is smaller but ok too.
