"The hotel provided an excellent base for my short stay while waiting for the ferry the next day."

The staff were very helpful. I asked the lady at the desk for a tourist recommendation, and she suggested Kampung Warna Warni. It was beautiful, and the people were very friendly. In fact, I went back twice, once in the hot afternoon for a short period to familiarize myself, and later when it was cooler to take some photos. The room had a hair dryer and an iron. The hair dryer came in very handy when I got caught in the rain, and my shoes got wet. I used the hair dryer to dry them.
