"Historic cottage near plenty of facilities not far from Hobart."

Wonderful historic cottage, just over the road from good pub and restaurant, not far from town with all the facilities you need.

Very little, could do with a bannister on the stairs and the parking area was a bit tight, but no big deal.

"A lovely & cozy experience."

The hosts were so lovely! Upon arrival there was a hamper filled with amazing snacks and 'goodies' that went over and above any other places we've stayed. There was a bottle of wine in the fridge with some crackers & camembert cheese. There was even treats for my pup - organic, dehydrated, lamb treats and food/water bowls. Espresso machine - a bonus! I would stay again; in fact, I tried to another time, but these guys book out so quickly, and I can see why. Very accomodating, and their house keeper is extremely thorough and very friendly to boot!

Great setting, history.....cottage VERY comfortable tho may need a lift as I age! Good choice of teas/coffees!

Felt the breakfast basket could have done with some fruit, and perhaps hummus/tahini/vegemite not just jams/honey neither of which I like! Also perhaps two Tasmanian cheeses not just one!

"Everything you need and more."

Great place. Everything you need for a self catering holiday and more. Bread, cheese, milk, butter, Jams and other little extras provided for breakfast.

A very comfortable two-storey house, clean and warm, with a great atmosphere. The host is very kind and welcoming. We hope to meet again someday.

The staircase is a bit narrow and steep, which made it a little challenging for our 10-year-old French bulldog, but it wasn’t a major issue.

"Perfect home base for visitors to the region."

Beautifully presented, driving in was like entering a story book. Heating is excellent, which was important to us. The many thoughtful touches made our stay magical, and we particularly appreciated the breakfast basket and supplies. The bed is ENORMOUS and so so comfortable. Our lovely hosts could not have been more accommodating and kind. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

"Great stay in Lithgow’s Row"

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the wine, cheese and biscuits etc. Host was very responsive, instructions for check in were clear.
