Es ist dies ein außerordentlich schöner Ort, an dem wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Wir haben den Anschluss an einige der Dorfbewohner und besonders der Crew des Hauses gesucht und gefunden, ihre Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft genossen, wenn wir etwas brauchten oder Fragen hatten. Am letzten Tag, an dem wir nicht mehr kochen wolllten, wurden wir sogar von den Nachbarn unentgeldlich versorgt. Wo findet man so etwas heutzutage noch? In das Haus, ein bischen wie Kolonialstil, haben wir uns wirklich verliebt, die Ruhe, der traumhafte Garten, der saubere Pool, die liebenswürdigen Mitarbeiter des Hauses . . . unvergesslich. This is an extraordinarily beautiful place where we felt very comfortable. We sought out and found connections with some of the villagers, especially the house crew, and enjoyed their friendliness and helpfulness whenever we needed anything or had questions. On our last day, when we didn't want to cook anymore, the neighbors even looked after us free of charge. Where can you find something like that these days? We truly fell in love with this house, a bit like a colonial style, the tranquility, the dreamlike garden, the clean pool, the friendly staff . . . unforgettable.

- host did not know about the reservation when we arrived; rooms were not prepared - place was not cleaned properly. when we entered the rooms they were full of mosquitos; they were sprayed down and left there until we left (no cleaning after). we had to ask for everything.. for towels etc. when we arrived there was no toilet paper (only one which was almost finished) and the staff were getting there only in the evening so we had to buy some from the local store. - impossible to walk to the beach due to strain dogs on the road but tuktuk was around ~300LKR (if you find it on your own; if hotel staff calls someone it'll be 500-700LKR). If you choose to come here; there are few nice places to spend the day on the beach with sunbeds - Beach club/Janu's - hot water was on and off - the information on booking website is misleading. when we chose the rooms it was written "deluxe villa" . we thought we were booking deluxe villas whereas when we got there we were given a normal room (with connecting door to other room which was given to a stranger - the door was locked but you could hear every little noise from the other room) -cherry on the cake: the owner and staff let other women guest from the villa hold a noisy party in the evening with alcohol with 4-5 local men on the villa premises so we could not relax in the last evening spent there . after the party ended my friends had to listen to "you know what" type of noises through the connecting door which lead to that women's room of the so called "deluxe villa" Due to this facts we considered that it's not a safe and good palace to stay so we left the next day. (did not complete the last night of the booking) Owner did ignore my request to refund the night that we did not spend there claiming they try "give best service for our customers" and the day with the party was "birthday".

It was my second time on Sri Lanka. 6 years ago I was solo traveller. This time I travelled with my family of 3 and initially our intetntion was to spend 2 nights in this place and move further to enjoy the secrets of an island. Hovewere, after those 2 nights we decided to extend our stay, and then to extend it again - to the very end of our visit on Sri lanka - this is how we liked the place. Place itself provides the feeling of isolation from the crowds - you can see and hear the jungle from the terrace. Each morning I conducted the routine with my 1.5 year old son to go birdseeing which he enjoyed a lot. Swimming pool was also nice. At the same time the the host was great and place overall was very clean. The possibility to have a great breakfast/lunch/dinner at place is a gamechanger here. All the positives combined influenced our decision to stay longer than we anticipated.

I liked the location which, for birding was excellent. It was also a little way from the main tourist centres but only a 15 minute walk to the beach. The accommodation itself was excellent with a lovely pool, nice little kitchen and a friendly cat! The caretaker host, Krishna, was impeccable, friendly and efficient. The bed was comfy and the ac sufficient.

I liked it all but be aware that if all four villas are booked (only two were booked when I visited) or if there are a bunch of children around, it will likely be a bit noisy. Likewise, the visiting bread man has a really annoying 'here I am' musical call and the local call to prayer went on for an hour.

We were warmly welcomed, with the traditional coconut drink, after a long drive and this place is fabulous in every way! We experienced quick response from the owner Suminda on our questions. It’s like a boutique hotel with very clean and spacious rooms, superb beds and the duty manager Krishan is amazing in his service. They offer a wide selection of food but with your own full-equipped kitchen you can make your own meals. The pool is relaxing with comfortable sun-beds, placed in the garden with a wonderful view at the nature., a quiet location and only 1 km from a beautiful beach with restaurants and bars. Transport can be provided if needed. We loved the veranda, overlooking nature with an abundance of birds, squirrels and even some monkeys (on a safe distant).

A quiet little hotel away from the hustle and bustle, lovely clean little pool. Two rooms and two villas (I stayed in the villa and it's spacious, clean and very comfortable). Fully equipped kitchen, brand new AC...small balcony but there's ample room under the pagoda next to the pool to hang out. The background tunes are nature.. Beautiful bird life, water Buffalo's it's so peaceful... The owner is in contact whenever required and the young lad looking after the premises is a nice lad. 15 min walk to the bus stop if you don't have wheels. Fabulous place.

Very comfortable villa in 10 minutes to the beach. You will find almost everything you need for relaxing. Also there is a manager/assistant Crishiyan who really tends to help guests in everything.
