Central location. Less than 30 mins travel to anywhere in the Forest of Dean. A couple of good pubs within walking distance

Beautiful Lodge accomodation with all the facilities you could possibly need. 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the living room. Onsite parking, Wifi included. Brilliant Huge Fridge with complimentary water. Cooking facilities, pots, pans, bowls and utensils all available. Local shop only a mile or so away. Great host contact on day unfortunately we had a very busy weekend therefore never got chance to meet in person but were available over the phone and accomodated our late check in.

I personally found one of the beds very soft however I do have a firm mattress at home so it was just different from what i'm used to. I did still sleep well and swapped beds with my chilfren on the 2nd night who disnt seem to mind.

Needed a bit of a clean, bins dusty, radiators , blinds.. taps etc pull out bed not comfortable especially when you have a single quilt in double duvet.. lack of pillow and cases. No recycling facility all in one bag?

Liberty Lodge is lovely and had everything we needed. Spacious, plenty of storage and on the doorstep of the Forest of Dean. Perfect location to go off and have an adventurous break.
