Location was good The garden was secure for your pets It had been decorated for Christmas There were some welcome gifts such as Cornish tea Cornish ground coffee, Cornish ginger biscuits, milk in the fridge and apple juice and mince pies

It was very cold when we arrived and took a long time to warm up, but the weather was really cold The television needs to be replaced due to a very slow response, very dated ! batteries in the tv remote we had to replace ourselves. In general, the place was very tired and needed attention, kitchen doors chipped damaged, frying pans pretty much useless crockery very worn The cleanliness was not up to scratch behind the TV was a couple of years of grime the only reason I noticed this because it was on a pull out bracket I wasn’t going looking for dirt! The cushions on the sofas were dirty The pillow protectors need to be cleaned regularly The shower in the Twin bedroom was Electric and it ran freezing cold boiling hot. I was unable to use it. I would’ve expected Shampoo ,body wash and conditioner in the bathrooms. One hairdryer in the entire cottage.

The cottage is beautifull, quiet , plenty of facilities in the cottage itself a home from home . Was able to make use of swim spa which was heaven after a long walk

I clnt fault it , we were the only couple in foxes den , other properties were vacant. Perhaps be aware that if all 3 properties are occupied , maybe a little more busy in garden area and swim spa . But wldnt of put me off staying here again .

Excellent location and beautiful house in peaceful surroundings.

The only thing I could fault is the bed in the downstairs bedroom, replace the mattress and I'd give it a 10.
