GBThe property is in a great location, close to plenty of lovely little shops and 5 minute walk to the centre. The facilities were perfect, even left dishwasher tablets and washing tablets. The host provided everything we needed, and was able to accommodate an earlier check in and an extra parking permit for our stay.
The property wasn’t cleaned as well as we would have expected, as the carpets definitely needed a good hoover. There were areas in the house where there was some slight damp and stained walls. Apart from that the house was perfect.
GBIt was in a perfect spot for where we needed to be. It was clean and welcoming. Nothing was any bother for the owner great communication. We will deffo book here again.
The only down side is that it's set out over 3 floors. Lots of stairs. Wouldn't put us off staying again though.

The property was poorly presented and looked a little run down. there was rubbish and weeds in the front garden. The windows where filthy inside and out and layers of muck underneath the beds especially the bedroom on the second floor

No access to private garden as advertised, no where to hang clothes in the green bedroom, the unit in the en-suite has a block of wood blue tacked to it for some bizarre reason. All the cupboards smelt fusty and damp. Some of door handles were loose with screws hanging out, one of the ovens didn’t actually work, the top floor bedroom didn’t have enough blinds to cover all the windows, broken glass and a dirty mug in the dishwasher on arrival and the filter hadn’t been cleaned. But the most shocking and disgusting thing we found was evidence of mice in the green bedroom. There was chewed up material under the bed, not sure if it’s the curtains or the underside of the bed. I’ve attached pictures of this, along with the blocked off gate to the rear private garden. I’m Expecting an apology from the owners of the property and an explanation for these issues.

The house was very dirty and needed a lick of paint! There was no storage in kitchen for food
GBIt suited our family of 10 (6 adults & 4 children) 1 bedroom on first floor - 2 bedrooms on 2nd floor & 2 bedrooms on 3rd floor
No downstairs toilet. We had to go up 2 floors to reach the shared toilet on 2nd floor, otherwise people had to go into the en-suite to the bedroom on 1st floor.
GBGreat location, very close to the heart of Whitby. The house itself is lovely, very spacious and nice furnishings making it a pleasant place to stay. Bed sheets and towels were clean.
The house could do with a deep clean as there's thick dust all over the blinds and skirting boards and the kitchen bin smelt terrible even with nothing in it. Windows would also benefit from a clean so guests could enjoy the nice views.
