Penddaulwyn Uchaf Farm # Carmarthenshire

The accomodation is spacious, very well maintained, cleaned and equipped. Everything we needed was provided and Fe is a lovely and friendly host. She gave us lots of advice on places to visit and her Welsh cakes are amazing. We hope to visit again.

Generosity and friendliness of the hosts. Sitting out on the patio for breakfast and enjoying the view in the morning sun. Clean and well maintained accommodation. Rural location, proximity to National Botanic Gardens of Wales, lots of castles and good places to walk and cycle

The sitting area on west side of property catches the evening sun but could do with some more planting to make it more attractive and create a little bit of pprivate space.

The kitchen and the apartment were well equipped. The beds were very confortable and cosy. The hosts were very kind (nice Welsh cakes for welcome). Very calm, not a single noise.

Fe and Barry were great hosts. They greeted us on arrival, even though we were a lot later than previously agreed (traffic!). The apartment was clean and bright. There was a lovely sofa area and a small kitchenette downstairs. Upstairs had the double bed, two singles and a sofa bed. Fe had even put a baby gate on the stairs as we have small children. They were both around during our 3 night stay and were very helpful. The space was tidy and clean. They made Welsh cakes for us upon arrival, which went down a treat with a cup of tea! Thanks for a great stay ☺️☺️ we loved it!

Cold floor was great during the day,not so great at night so remember flipflops or slippers :)

Everything! The farm cottage is a great base for any family holiday - the most idyllic location off the beaten track, but with easy access to great days out. The kitchen was perfect to cook up a quick evening meal. The patio was great to have our meals out on, as well as tiring out the kids. We loved being surrounded by fields as far as the eye could see and being able to pick some fresh mint for a tea. Our homemade Welsh cakes on arrival were the perfect start to what was a relaxing and fun family holiday. We can’t wait to go back again. Fe and Barry, thanks for making our holiday xx
