Lovely property with great amenities

Not the property but the sheer volume of messages was just a bit much I had 11 very long messages come in just for this booking which I’m sure are automated but a little overkill

Good spacious well fitted property. Lovely living space, kitchen. The ensuite wash facilities for both rooms were brilliant. We highly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were friendly.

Great location, perfect for seeing the island. Very spacious and well equipped. Parking on site is great. Downstairs is a well sized space , Idea for 4 adults. The bedrooms are a good size, one slightly smaller than the other but still ok. Plenty of storage.

Unfortunately the hot water failed on arrival and towards the end of the stay. The hosts had sorted an engineer to be there to fix the issue almost immediately, the later, we notified them but with it being our last day it caused no issues. The rear outside space felt like it could be a little nicer and encourage sitting outside. There was a fair amount of cobwebs around the house, these didn't bother us but might others. The house is on a working farm so the hosts would have all on keeping on top of them.

The property was spotlessly clean and incredibly well equipped. The owners were helpful and friendly as well. This is the best property I have had the pleasure of staying at.

There was nothing I think the property lacked. It was excellent in every way.

Access down a narrow single track road. Difficult to find initially as satnav (using postcode) ended at the church. Had to chance driving a little further down the single track lane to locate the property.

Excellent facilities including the two ensuites, the comfy beds, spaciousness, availability of washing machine and dishwasher even though we didn't use those. Good TV with Netflix, wifi, fairly quiet and felt homely and safe. Good fridge and freezer. Good quality towels and bed linen. Ample lighting including for both rear yard and the porch. Decor, provision of games in the table, DVDs and some guide info to the local eateries and places to go.

Use of oven and hob in tandem quite tricky as you are standing in front of the one to use the other and the hob rings take time to get used to. Kitchen cabinets very high and could not reach many of the crocks. Small fold out step would be a handy addition to under the sink area. Would very much have liked a welcome note and basket with local produce - have become very used to this from other cottage hosts and after a long drive it really is appreciated when there's something to get you started. One or two things dusty such as artificial window sill plants, backs of doors and higher items.
