Finest Retreats - Felin Ship

Position was great, quiet and private

Everything!! The house was more than we expected. We were a family of 11 and there was ample room. At no time did it feel cramped. The accommodation had two separate ends one with a spiral suitcase and the other a normal suitcase. The table could sit 12 but there were only 8 chairs, although in the kitchen there was a table and two benches. On chillier evenings we enjoyed the wood fires. The kitchen was more than adequate having all the implements we needed, there was a welcome pack of bits on arrival too. People had commented previously on there only being a small fridge but we were happy to find these comments had been listened to and there was a second fridge now with a freezer and found these adequate for our weeks stay with 11 people. The grounds were more than we could have hoped for. Trees and bushes for the kids to hide in safely, a small incline for them to roll down, a stream at the end of the garden with a resident heron a games room a small outhouse big enough for one to do yoga or Pilates and a games room with pool table. Everything about Felin Ship was incredible.

Great location, house and garden were perfect. Had a great weekend with a large group.

The Felin Ship was an ideal place, in a quite location on the outskirts or Dolgellau, for myself and five friends to meet up, and to share an outdoor activity holiday. There is simply so much to do in the area. Hill walking, watersports, cycling etc. The property was very spacious, with plenty of room to park all six of our cars. We absolutely loved the beautiful gardens leading down to the river, and the hot tub. Had the weather been poor, I'm sure we would have made more use of the games room.

There were a few minor issues, but the managing agents were quick to respond when notified. In terms of facilities, it was well equipped, but we could have done with a larger fridge.
