Tranquility

The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, and clean and tidy. We loved the furnishings. The location of the cottage set amongst gardens was pleasant. We only had a short stay so didn't use the clubhouse, or gym and plunge pool (although both were small). The nearest beach (Maenporth) has limited parking which was full when we arrived, however we would highly recommend 2nd nearest beach of Swanpool, linked with a great coastal footpath to the larger Gyllngvase beach which was a 10-15 min walk max. Overall a lovely stay and we plan to return but for a longer time next time!

Breakfast and evening meals are fabulous, staff make it extra enjoyable, really friendly and pleasant! Nice and peaceful, you can hear the sea from the rooms with the windows open, lovely fresh air, but the smell of the breakfast cooking has you up!

Nothing worth writing about! One thing to note though is that the roads around here and accessing are single lane and very narrow, muddy & pot holed, so you might want to consider if you a have a low profile tyred sports type vehicle or large SUV, or are bad at reversing long distances up lanes to get to passing points!

Great location to explore local area. House was perfect for a relaxing break.

Garden was very small but lots of areas close by so not really a problem.

Frische Blumen überall und Erdbeeren, Scones und Clotted Cream standen für einen leckeren Cream Tea bei unserer Ankunft bereit. Das Cottage ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und wunderbar in einem grünen Tal voller Blumen und Obstbäume gelegen. Den Strand kann man auch gut zu Fuß auf schönen Spazierwegen erreichen. Die Gastgeberin Denise war sehr aufmerksam und hatte viele Tipps zu Ausflugszielen für uns. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wiederkommen!
