Great location in heart of Kirkby Lonsdale and very well furnished to a high standard. Would definitely stay again and a great gateway to stunning walks

The top bathroom shower is a hand held - could add a shower screen and attach higher - otherwise nothing to improve!

The location was great, quaint little cottage in the center of the town. Access was straightforward with keys left in a lockbox. Beds were comfortable and once the heating kicked in the place warmed up nicely.

The toilet on the middle floor didn’t work. Meaning, out of two bathrooms only one toilet was available. There were no logs lefts for the fire, so we had to buy our own. The oven didn’t work- we eventually got it working through spending 30 mins googling the make and model and trying to reset the time to get it operational. Not something someone who wasn’t super detailed could figure out. The clock in the kitchen didn’t work. There were no basic condiments like salt and pepper or oil. The washer/ dryer were in an outhouse but that wasn’t communicated anywhere - took some exploring. They were also dirty and didn’t work effectively (we tried to dry a small amount of items for over 3 hours with no success). There were also no washing materials- just an empty box left on the side. The worst part about everything is that I tried calling the numbers listed to ask questions about the issues, also tried emailing (all during a standard business day and standard hours). Nobody answered/ returned calls or messaged me back the entire time. This prompted me to read reviews for the property and someone else had the same experience. TLDR- this place is nice, location is great….but there are a lot of issues and the hosts won’t respond to any communication.

The standard of this property is excellent, the linens and beds are so comfortable and the standards of cleanliness are fabulous with lovely luxurious bathrooms.
