8 Cathedral Street

I have already sent Sykes cottages and the owner an update on my disappointment and the issues I encountered. Sits on a lovely spot overlooking the river but the outside was covered in weeds, bottles and cigarette butts lying outside the cottage door. Cottage itself smells and feels damp. Really needs a deep clean as there were cobwebs, dirty table cover, the toilet sink is leaking onto the floor and the toilet itself hadn’t been cleaned properly. It was filthy. I can do basic but expect cleanliness for the price we paid. Big let down.

self-catering flat. Bright, clean and comfortable. Good appliances. Lovely location. Close to shops .

When the basin in the bathroom was emptied there appeared to be a small leak behind the basin pedestal. Shower screen could be a bit longer.

Location was great

The bathroom is a bit tired.

Location was excellent. Bed comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped.

Very squeaky doors wakening us up overnight if anyone went to the toilet!
