"Cosy and comfortable cottage."

10.0

Ideal location. Very comfortable and had everything you needed. Cream tea on arrival with milk and biscuits which was a lovely touch.

No recycling for card and plastic, only glass. Not too much of a problem, took it home.

The location was fantastic. A lovely, cosy cottage only a short walk from the harbour beach and shops

The shower - not enough power (and too hot unless on the weaker Eco setting)

"Lovely cottage in a charming place."

Excellent location and exactly as advertised regarding the stairs, we were lucky and managed to park on the North Quay every night but in the height of summer I'd imagine this could be very busy.

"Lovely cottage"

9.0

Central location in village. Well decorated.

Too much emphasis on the cleaning prior to departure. It says that unlike other platforms they don't charge a cleaning fee, so leave as you found. I.e immaculate. I would rather pay a fee to feel a little more relaxed on day of departure. Not to have to hoover & mop. I suppose it difficult to get the balance right with this.

"Relaxing and festive."

7.0

The decor, the kitchen equipment, the quaintness and the welcome pack with scones and biscuits.

The creaky bunk beds were very noisy, plus lots of noise between floors and when next door use their front door. The shower was lovely and warm but very feeble water pressure.

"Clean, comfortable, central. Would stay again :)"

9.0

Super comfy sofa and bed. Arrived to starter milk and tea bags after a long journey. Good shower, cosy cottage with woodburner and very close to village centre. Really enjoyed my stay. Clean, lovely decor and electric heaters are effective.

Stairs are quite steep. Did worry at times about slipping on stairs to kitchen when not wearing shoes as there is no carpet like upstairs. Grateful for the lovely oar handrail though. Only other small suggestion would be to put a key for the lower entrance in the keylock as getting heavy wheelie suitcase and bags up steps to main door wasn't as easy and it was much easier leaving at the end of the stay via the kitchen level.

"Early october visit 2023"

10.0

A very pretty, comfortable, and clean cottage, the views from the bedroom window were lovely. Everything was thought of incuding cornish goodies on arrival. Easy access to all Mousehole has to offer.

Nothing to dislike, maybe just worth mentioning the cottage is over 3 floors with the bathroom on the ground floor so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues but is understandable of a fisherman cottage of its age and location and is part of its charm and character.
