"Exceptional"

Our stay was perfect. We travel a lot around the United Kingdom, and it’s rare to find a place that is as clean as this one. The host is genuinely kind and really cares about guests’ comfort. It’s an ideal place to relax. I truly recommend it !!

"Lovely cottage for families with a dog"

Friendly host, lovely location with nice views, enough attractions close by if you're traveling by car, yard is nice for the dog to walk around as it's closed off.

Very small detail but the blinds on the first floor let in sunlight but I would still recommend the property.

"A most perfect getaway experience"

This cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was very clean, warm (we stayed Christmas week), comfortable and well-equipped. The host, Sara, is probably the most generous and kind we've come across during our years of booking cottages. The location is also excellent for experiencing all the amazing countryside and amenities across Derbyshire. If you want to stay in Derbyshire, this is the place to book. We'll definitely be back!

Very well equipped. Extremely clean spacious kitchen. Comfortable cosy lounge with wood burner. Excellent shower and bathroom facilities. Very comfortable beds. Lovely welcome basket of eggs, Prosecco, snacks and dog treats 😊

We were aware that the cottage was very close to the main road which was a 50mph limit. The traffic noise didn’t bother us but I was nervous about our dogs possibly finding a gap in the hedges or fence. We supervised them at all times and they were fine.

"Very enjoyable stay at the Cottage, Poplars Farm"

Lovely, comfy cottage which was extremely well equipped. Very generous welcome basket which even included treats for our dogs. Friendly owners - and must give a mention to Jess, their lovely dog. Great base to explore the area.

We liked everything!
