The Old Cottage

Lovely and clean. The kitchen had everything. Fantastic location with private parking.

Cottage exceeded our expectations. Everything you could need was provided. Clean and Comfortable. WiFi, Netflix. Lovely pub 2 minute walk away. Set in a peaceful village. Really comfortable beds. Annex which we had access to. Table tennis, TV room upstairs, ideal space for anyone including shower room with toilet, comfy chairs and sofa

Double bed next to wall on one side which was not to our liking so we slept in the single beds.. Bathroom downstairs with toilet which we struggled with at night due to mobility issues.

The location was great for traveling around the area

The microwave was rusty inside, the shower and bath had no hot water, mould around the bath.Copwebs on windows and kitchen blind was very mucky. The chairs in the lounge were stained the whole place looked very tired.

Quiet village house on private grounds, 3 miles from Western, and well placed for days out or relaxing days in.

Never got to meet the owners, or anyone, everything was by email, even the code for the key safe for the front door, and a link to a basic website that listed everything needed to know, even about the family cat.

Although our holiday was cut short because of the Coronavirus we had an amazing time. The Cottage is an excellent place for a holiday. The kitchen was well stocked and a lovely touch with a tea, coffee, milk starter pack. The cottage was in a lovely quiet corner and our baby loved playing with the stones. We'll certainly be going again hopefully.
