Green View Guest House

Clean and tidy room. Shared areas of the hotel had some lovely decorations and art deco pieces - just enough to set a style while not being overbearing. Also lots of period pieces such as historical maps and Victorian tourism posters. The owners are clearly proud of their hotel, town and the history. Breakfast was first class too. Highlight for me was the chat with Graeme at breakfast where if you didn’t know he was a hotelier you’d think he was a historian. Fascinating to learn more about the area ranging from Roman times to the WWII links to the nearby airbase. Could have chatted all day!

Excellent breakfast. Great location in small coastal town with interesting history. Very interesting decor throughout. Extremely comfortable room with good wifi and tea/coffee making facilities

Dining room was booked out for evening meal, but host was helpful in suggesting alternatives.

Great location for the golf club Easy parking (on street) Clean and comfortable room. Evening meal and breakfast both of a high standard. Recommend
