Nice quiet location

Property had electricity turned off and road closed on the first day of our stay. The electricity was off for more than 1.5 hours. (a planned upgrade) We were not informed of this. My husband had to have a cold shower because of lack of warning. Neighbours told us they all had a letter,

The place was very well located and spacious. It was easy to find the key and it was clean. The basics were there and lots of leaflets were also given about activities in the area which we really appreciated.

Unfortunately the bed wasn't very comfortable for me, a bit lumpy and too oft, but my partner slept well.

The cottage was delightful. Home from home in an idyllic place. Clean, warm and very well equipped. Will definitely return again.

Didn’t want to come home!

Fantastic layout with lovely, spacious lounge. Very comfy bed. Excellent facilities in the kitchen. Great location, ideal spot for exploring. Every detail has been thought about. We will definitely return.

It was in a great location very comfortable, my partner and i felt very much at home .

It would have been nice to have a fan .

The location was excellent and the cottage itself was perfect

Sadly the property opposite had an annoying outside sensor light which kept coming on and off. The curtains/blinds in the bedroom were not blackout type and thus didn’t stop the light opposite from annoying us.

accomodation was very good

Bathroom did not have a good shower, Water temperature was erratic in the shower . It was good elsewhere in the cottage but we could not get shower to operate correctly and it was mostly cold , switching to hot and then back to cold over the days we stayed. Still enjoyed our break though. Heating and kitchen water was fine.
