The breakfast was fantastic. The local recommendations we were given were excellent. We loved the attentiveness of the hosts, Jon & Huw. They made our trip extra special and we hope to come back again soon.

Lovely venue and food. Friendly staff. Unfortunately we picked the weekend storm Amy hit north Wales ! ☹️☔ We still had a good time.

The weather!

Host is very kind and friendly. The room is specious and everywhere is absolutely clean!

Don’t have it

A homely, almost throwback sort of hotel (think chintz, 70s/80s feel), staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The owners take food VERY seriously, so the breakfast are top-notch and evening dinner is available too

The wi-fi was not great, which for a solo traveller hoping to chill in my room and stream something, was not great.

From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for. The hosts were so warm and welcoming — they went out of their way to make both me and my dog, Jack, feel completely at ease. It didn’t feel like just a place to stay, it felt like visiting friends who truly love what they do. The breakfasts were made with such care and were honestly perfect every morning. They also gave the best local recommendations for hikes and beaches — every one of them turned out to be a gem. The hotel itself has such a calm, homey feel. Peaceful, quiet, and full of little touches that make you want to stay longer. Jack and I both left feeling so refreshed and grateful. I can’t thank them enough for such a lovely experience.
