White Rose Cottage

Lovely mid-terrace property, immaculately clean and well-provisioned with ample clean bedding, towels etc. Plenty of space with a large kitchen-diner and two good-sized bedrooms. Stairs are a little steep, as is the norm in properties of this age/style so maybe not the best for an older person or someone with limited mobility. The property faces the main street that runs through Guisborough so there is a bit of traffic noise to one side, but the double-glazed windows kept that to a minimum and it did not stop me from sleeping. There were some nice touches like a selection of games and DVDs and a bottle of wine! Internet giving good wifi reception throughout and a sunny courtyard. Guisborough is well-placed as a centre from which to explore the North York Moors, beautiful fishing villages like Staites and Runswick Bay, or Saltburn and Marske and only 30 minutes from Whitby to the south or Durham to the North. Had a very comfortable stay.
