Sioned, the host, was very friendly and accommodating. An excellent welcome basket was sitting on the table- a bottle of beer!!, chocolate Hobnobs, a traditional Welsh Bara Brith cake, Welsh biscuits. There was milk in the fridge and coffee and tea in the kitchen. She even made an extra trip back with additional firewood without being asked. The cottage is small, could be a problem if you have lots of luggage, but very well equipped. It is ideal for a couple, or family with one or two small children. We were three adults, and while it was ok, the bunk bed was a little tight for an adult - me :). The multi-fuel burner was great in the cooler evenings, it made the the living room very cozy and relaxing. Location is excellent; a five minute walk to the Snowdon Railway and Dolbadarn castle. Ten minute walk into the village and fifteen to the beautiful Ceunant Mawr waterfall. Parking outside is a real bonus. The road can be busy during the day, but was fairly quiet at night. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Great little cottage for my partner and I. Everything you needed was on hand, little welcome pack on arrival, which was a lovely touch. Perfect location if you are wanting to climb Snowdon and easy access to Llanberis itself without having to drive and pay for parking. Thoroughly enjoyed this cosy cottage, would highly recommend.

Lovely location just outside town and close to walking trails, ideal to go up the Llanberis track. Woodburner was cosy, tiny kitchen well equipped. Parking immediately outside. Sofa and chairs comfy with blankets. Games in the cupboard.

Hot water is a known issue, not mentioned on the website but lengthy descriptions in the file in the cottage - bath not useable and that was a feature we had booked for so disappointed, shower also temperamental. Owners dropped off extra logs so we could use the stove without paying for extra fuel.

Ty Coed is on the edge of the village well within a short walk to the shops. We had everything we needed and the cottage was well equipped with good quality furniture and fittings. I had to get used to the height of some of the doors as I am 6'1" and the doors 5'10"!

Not much, we had every thing we neeed.

Good location

Poor cleanliness of property, including bedding, kitchen facilities. No hot water in kitchen. Shower held up by a piece of cord,. Smelt musty. No ability to change settings eg:heating as controls sealed and locked.

Amazing location! Right next to a castle and walking distance to the Snowdon mountain railway! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
