Goldfield Glamping

Went to celebrate my partner’s birthday over the long weekend booked us a 2-night stay at one of the bigger tents (Rush) which in my opinion has the best view among all the others not that I’m being biased. On our way to the property we were greeted by a mob of kangaroos and when we got to the venue, the host, Darren, met us at the entrance and welcomed us and gave us quick instructions where to park. When we got to the tent we were in awe of how beautiful it is inside. The bed was so cosy and beddings were lush we slept in until the arvo. Cooking tools were provided together with our own grill. There's also our own personal fire-pit we used to grill steak, sausages, and marshmallows (which are also provided). At night there's no light pollution so the stars are so visible you could just stare at them for hours. But what made this trip very remarkable is how hospitable the host was. Daz provided all what we need and more. He made us feel we're very welcome. Went above and beyond to make our stay so much more enjoyable.

On arrival the host showed us fire wood allocation, let's say we went and collected wood as it was not enough for the night due to being cold. Mats in tent dangerous, my opinion should be a big mat not singular mats as they slip and OHS should come into play! Cooking appliances way too small, to cook up dinner you have weber not hot plates etc. Old chairs outside, wood was rotten sat and chair broke thankfully not injured, when advising host he dismissed and said oh maybe I need to buy new ones! Toilet would not flush! You could hear all the other guests in was like we all in one tent. Overall disappointed in glamping experience, not worth money!

Probably that you hear the cars on the road but no many cars pass so we could still feel quite.

The road to the property was mildly bumpy but was manageable with a 2WD

First time glamping and it was amazing! Hospitality was incredible, the host went above and beyond. Super clean and extremely comfortable bed and nice and warm inside the tent. Sitting out at the fire place with well stocked wood provided by the host looking up at the stars was amazing! We will definitely be back and recommending this place to family and friends. It was an incredible stay. Thanks Darren for being such an amazing host!
