Rustig, luxe, schoon, lekker eten + een paar leuke honden en katten

I’m sharing my honest experience at IUTA Farm (Oct 6–8, 2025). Our room had around 30 millipedes during the night, making it impossible to sleep or relax. At first, the host denied the possibility of insects, then later said they might come from a bathroom drain. They did only one quick room check and called the problem “resolved,” even though both nights were affected. They also said room checks are just their duty and no one is available after 3 p.m. for cleaning, yet they still claim they “did their best.” At checkout, they promised a one-night refund and even told Booking.com they would process it. But after two weeks of silence, they changed their words and refused the refund. Such behavior is deeply unprofessional and dishonest. I’m attaching photos of the insects and screenshots showing their refund promise and later denial. Everything here is based on facts, not emotion — future guests deserve to know. P.S. They did offer us a free meal worth about €100 as “compensation.” Unfortunately, we couldn’t sleep for two nights or even unpack our luggage — but it seems they believe that was enough.

Die IUTA-Farm liegt abseits des Touri-Rummels ruhig auf dem Land und doch nahe zu Noto, Marzamemi und dem Meer. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Unser Gepäck wurde vom Parkplatz aus mit einem Elektrocar zum Zimmer gebracht und am Abreisetag wieder zurück. Wir haben in einer Suite gewohnt, die sehr groß, sauber und modern eingerichtet war und eine riesige Regendusche hatte. Der private Pool ist sehr mini und war zu kalt, um darin zu sitzen. Der Gemeinschaftspool im Garten ist dafür umso besser: Groß und mit Salzwasser - super zum Schwimmen geeignet. Das Frühstück war lecker, gesund und abwechslungsreich und auch das vegetarische Dinner hat uns gut geschmeckt. Besonders haben wir die lieben Tiere ins Herz geschlossen. 🥰

Der private Pool ist zu kalt zum Reinsetzen ohne sich zu bewegen. 🥶

The room was extremely spacious and comfortable with a beautiful "Southwest" decor. The oversized bathroom featured double sinks with plenty of space for all toiletries and a double rain head shower as well. The very private and lushly landscaped entrance patio with private pool was amazing. Breakfast, served table side in a charming and cozy environment, was filled with many delicious homemade delights. Additionally, the staff could not have been more accommodating or friendly and the grounds were quiet, peaceful, and beautiful just minutes from Noto.

I wish we could have stayed longer! It was wonderful!

A haven of tranquility. The accommodation is beautiful - comfortable and well designed, and the staff are warm and friendly but the location is the truly remarkable thing. It is genuinely beautiful. And Tobia the Golden Retriever is a lovely calming presence around the farm
