Villa Sarakkuwa

We would have loved to stay here longer, but this was unfortunately our last night in Sri Lanka. I could have stayed in the pool all day! It's quite a magnificent home, with some unique fish tanks. The hosting was fantastic, and the meals were served with such panache - it felt like a really special way to end the trip.

If you're very noise-sensitive, ask to stay in a room that isn't near to the fish tanks - they can be a little noisy. Be aware that there is a lot of water around the property, so you'll need to be aware of mosquitoes. We'd have liked a paved path to our room in the garden - we accidentally tracked mud in from the lawn.

El trato del personal fue super agradable desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos. Madrugó para prepararnos el desayuno y despedirnos. No pudimos ver los alrededores porque llegamos de noche y nos fuimos de madrugada pero parecía estar en un entorno muy bonito, y la piscina era increíble.

Parecía la casa de alguien, decoración muy antigua y cargada con plantas y peceras por todas partes, lo que hacía que la casa oliera a agua estancada. En la habitación se colaban hormigas y otros bichitos desde la zona principal. Ubicación lejos del aeropuerto (30').

We only stayed for one night, but our experience was truly fantastic. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, which was a wonderful and unexpected surprise for us. The room was clean and very comfortable, with air conditioning that worked perfectly. The pool, as well as the entire property, was spotless and well-maintained. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone!

A wonderful place to stay. Great location, perfect for our last night before departure. We were welcomed with a lovely welcome drink. Delicious breakfast, and everyone was very kind. The garden pool was fantastic – such a relaxing spot. A perfect ending to our stay in Sri Lanka.

Das Frühstück jeden Morgen liebevoll vorbereitet. Der Pool super gepflegt und schön! Der Gastgeber immer zur Stelle und half mir auch das Gepäck reinzutragen. Das Zimmer gross und sauber. Alles perfekt.

The place is absolutely magical. We have enjoyed our stay. The ladies working there are one of the nicest people. We had flight early in the morning so we even receive a box with our breakfast to go. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay.

There were quite a lot of mosquitoes in the room.
