Beautiful location and had all the amenities that we could’ve possibly needed.

We'd never been to Chulilla before but this won't be our last trip and this cottage will be where we want to stay. It is perfect for a couple but would be difficult for anything more. The town itself is fantastic, built on the side of a narrow gorge with tiny winding streets and wonderful views. There are excellent restaurants, a super bakery and tremendous walks. The cottage had a living room and kitchen downstairs and a living room, bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It is old and full of character but this doesn't detract from the comfort of the place. This is helped by a wood burning stove, wonder upon wonder an electric kettle [why are these so scarce in Spain] and a good shower. The cottage is on the edge of the ravine [and the terrace looks out over this] and despite being only 50 metres from the centre of the town, it is incredibly quiet. It is NOT the place for someone who wants a giant TV, a jacuzzi or a state of the art kitchen. It is absolutely the place for anyone who prefers charm to flash

The only things was the hot water in the upstairs tap doesn't work [although the shower is fine] A couple of things to be aware of, although they aren't a problem you just need to plan. 1. There are a couple of steps on the living room floor that are quite easy to trip over and the stairs are steep so it isn't a place for someone with mobility issues 2. There is no parking at the cottage. In fact you need to drop your bags in the town square, about 50 metres away and carry them to the cottage. You then have to park in one of the town parking lots that are 3-5 minutes away

The perfect home base to enjoy Chulilla! We had an excellent experience all around and would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect for easy access by foot to the village and its charms as well as the trails leading to climbing and hiking. With abundant character and charm, the house is spacious and well-stocked with everything we needed, and the patio has the best views in town. Our host Estanislao was very friendly and helpful, and found us the perfect restaurant (Restaurante Hoces del Turia) where we ate both nights. Highly recommended!

This house was an absolute gem. Well equipped, traditional, amazingly situated in the heart of the village. we loved everything about this property. the check in was easy and effortless and the host was very kind.
