The location is amazing, unobstructed view of a full moon rising, the light house light sweeping across the bay and the whisper of the surf directly across the road was very atmospheric The close vicinity to food and leisure activities at The Entrance was invaluable

The induction stove was difficult to operate, no proper step by step instruction was provided The ceiling fans (it was a warm night) only seemed to operate while the extremely bright overhead light was on

Location and views

The air-conditioning wasn't working and when called about it the staff lied and said someone was coming out to look or fix it and didn't. However after looking at reviews from a month ago other guests already had complained about this, so the problem was already known and not told to us or a discount offered. It was extremely humid the whole weekend which made it really uncomfortable to stay there. It's a shame because we've been staying there for 5 years and it's the first time we've been treated like this. Fans don't work properly anymore either. TV is still 20yrs old.

Clean, good location

Air conditioning wasn’t working and the BBQ didn’t work

The location

Air conditioner was broken and was not fixed nor were additional fans provided or any compensation. The property managers East Coast Getaways were very rude when we advised of the problem and did not offer any sort of compensation. The maintenance person that we had to contact directly did come and tried his best but it was unable to be fixed. Despite messages and emails East Coast Getaways have offered no apology, support or compensation. The property has fans which once turned on they caused dust to “rain” all over all the beds and floor which we then had to clean.

We were told to bring toilet paper, soap, dish washing liquid and tea towels which we did. Then found that they were provided as they should be.

We love the ocean view from the apartment, the rooms are very clean, and it has everything we need, feel like home. The staff are very helpful too. We left something in the room by accident and they posted it to us.

Great location, fantastic views, apartment was clean & had everything I needed.

Noisy neighbours in the units next door Saturday night

We loved waking up to the view of the gorgeous sunrise and the sound and the view of the ocean. The apartment was beautiful, it catered for all our needs, it was spacious.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The staff were not very friendly or helpful, were very rude when I rang them to ask about security deposit and when I couldn’t find the apartment.
