GBGBEverything about our stay at Stable Lodge was amazing. The lodge is so cozy with the lovely log burner and the quality of the bedding and towels was superb. Lesley was super helpful with everything which made our stay. They really have thought of everything.
Coming home
GBIt is peaceful and relaxing, a real hideaway yet central to so many tourist towns, walks, mountains, activities and shops. Excellent location and extremely comfortable. We had a fantastic time, Mum, Dad and 9 year old daughter.
GBReally clean and comfortable. The owner was super friendly and welcoming. Excellent kitchen facilities with plenty of pans/utensils etc. Comfortable beds and lovely towels and linen.
Honestly, I only lowered my rating based on the fact that the shower was the worst one I have ever tried to use. The water pressure was so low I found it impossible to wash my long hair properly. When the shower was set to high rather than economy, the temperature fluctuated wildly so it was either scalding or freezing with a brief 3 second sweet spot either side. We followed all the instructions, but I think because the property isn't on mains supply, there isn't much to be done. Out of the owners control I imagine and the only thing that lets the lodge down a little. Still a fab place to stay.
Amazing lodge, had loads of luxury extras ie, Arran hand wash, white company bedding and towels. Even had hot water bottles to use. Took our dog Harley and there was a fenced off dog area for her to use off lead. Lots of lovely wee touches made this stay very pleasant for all the family. Will defo return x
Really lovely stay, cosy cabin with wood burning stove, great outside decking area and really quiet. It has everything you need for a relaxing getaway, would high recommend. Great location to explore and go on some excellent dog walks.
