Art Gallery Hotel

We stayed few nights in this hotel in Baku and we overall enjoyed our stay. The hotel presents itself as a 5*, but honestly it is more a 4* boutique hotel. Position is great, right close to the Old Town and across from the Boulevard so you can easily walk to all the main attractions. Our room was a bit on the small side but spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we could need. Breakfast was so-so, you can order from an a-la-carte menu and choose from a tray, but things ordered from the menu are not cooked on the spot: we ordered pancakes and all the mornings they were cold and clearly they were made beforehand. If you are in a rush please consider quite a long time for the breakfast or choose to head to Paul's cafe nearby. We also had some confusion with billing and breakfast cost, but after e-mails, messaged and phone calls it was sorted out. Overall it is a nice place and we definitely recommend it for a stay in Baku.

The design of this hotel is a little over the top, mostly "street art" in the public spaces and prints in the guest rooms. But if that is not too much, the rooms are actually very comfortable. The bathroom, bed, lighting, etc... all very nice and comfortable. The breakfast is good and served in a beautiful breakfast room. Staff were all lovely and very helpful, both day and night staff. Super professional and accommodating. Location is great. Finally, I am grateful that the hotel paid special attention to soundproofing. The doors and windows are very well insulated and allowed me the quiet I was seeking on a work trip. I would go back, even if I prefer quieter design.

This fabulous boutique hotel is perfect for a visit to Baku. First, the location, just by the old town with the entrance between the Dior and Celine stores. Second, the fabulous interior and art works. During our stay there was an issue with the guest elevator for a short time: rather than take the service elevator we take the stairs and enjoy the art on display. Our room, 510, was comfortable, spotlessly clean and quiet with all the expected amenities. Third, the fantastic staff that were so welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Fourth, the excellent breakfast served in the fabulous atrium. We loved our stay. Highly recommend.

We chose to stay in Art Gallery hotel primarily considering its location, with convenient walking distance to most tourist attractions such as Maiden tower, Shirvanshah Palace, Old Baku city, Nutelland, Mini Venice, Flame Towers etc. However, what impressed us more was the exceptional hospitality and customer service that we received during our stay. Although each and every staff in the reception were extremely customer oriented, Mr. Sheripbay deserves special mention for his humility, attentiveness and excellent customer service skills. The place itself is beautiful and artistic, true to its name, which gave the hotel a unique ambience and a serene atmosphere. We booked through booking.com and stayed in room 504 which was a little small for our requirements, however it was still cosy and we didn't feel a need to upgrade. However, we happened to see room 506 which was actually spacious and much bigger, so please confirm with the hotel directly regarding your space requirements. The rooms and the hotel premises are clean and well maintained. We loved the restaurant and the breakfast was amazing! Dishes were made to order and were customised according to our tastes... I would like to thank Mr. Rustam and Mr. Fuad for being so pleasant and friendly throughout our stay. I would gladly recommend Art Gallery hotel as one of the best choices for its value, hospitality and excellent service.

This hotel, the facilities, location and staff is nothing short of SENSATIONAL. Just a beautiful and very pleasant experience I had of a weekend visit to Baku. There is so much to see and when i come back i would not hesitate of staying at this property again! NOW FOR A SPECIAL MENTION: The breakfast is a 10 out of 10 experience. The "food trolley experience" for cold cuts, yogurts, cereals and fruits was beautifully delivered by the attentive staff - and the hot meals menu was very extensive and delivered very promptly! Not a single thing can be faulted - well done to all involved!

Location is great. The hotel is clean, the staff is polite and helpful. A buffet breakfast would have been much faster and easier.

Location is perfect, right across from the beautiful Caspian Sea pedestrian walkway and adjacent to Old Town. Staff was extra nice and helpful. Room was awesome for the 3 of us staying as singles. Would go back in a heartbeat to beautiful Baku!
