Die Schließfächer sind nicht vom Zimmer getrennt, also wenn du schlafen willst und jemand Geräusche macht, hört man alles. Das hat mir überhaupt nicht gefallen.

Kitchen

I have booked over 300 accommodations on Booking, and this is one of the very rare times I feel the need to leave a review. It is also the worst experience I’ve had staying in Japan. If it wasn’t for the inconvenience of moving luggage, I definitely would not have extended my stay for so many days. In the mornings, I greeted the cleaning staff, but most of them responded with blank expressions. Not just one person—this seemed to be the general attitude. This is quite surprising in Japan, a country known for its politeness. The same applied to the front desk. On the first day, I encountered a middle-aged male staff member who was also expressionless. In fact, several front desk staff members could not communicate in English at all and had to rely on translation apps, which made communication frustrating. For a hostel of this size, it is disappointing that the staff’s English is not at a basic conversational level. If guests are not allowed to use the kitchen after check-out, or must leave by 12 am,this should be clearly stated at check-in or displayed prominently in the kitchen. I would absolutely respect the rules if informed in advance. Instead, I was told about this restriction only when I was already using the kitchen, which made me feel unwelcome and as if I was being driven away. Overall, this is the least polite and most disappointing accommodation experience I’ve had in Japan.
