The common area was really nice and a cool place to hang out and relax at night. The location is great—close to major shrines and also convenient for getting to Kyoto Station. The capsule beds and restrooms were very clean and well maintained. The staff were super friendly and helpful. This was a last-minute booking for me, and they were very accommodating, which I really appreciated.

The storage space is pretty small. It’s big enough for a small backpack and a jacket, but not large luggage or a carry-on suitcase. If you have bigger bags, you’ll need to leave them downstairs and just bring what you need for the night or the next day into your pod. It’s not really a big deal, more of a heads-up if you’re traveling with larger luggage. The area where you get ready is also a bit small, so if there are 3–4 people there at the same time, it can feel a little crowded and like you’re in each other’s way.
