location was great. We were welcomed well. staff was great and the breakfast.

1. Wifi. 2. bathrooms needed a little bit more effort in terms of cleaning.

property was itself was nice but the staff was terrible.

The chef and the restaurant staff were very rude and unprofessional. One particular member of the restaurant staff showed up at our table when we were complaining to the manager about multiple issues we faced and started arguing with us in a very rude manner even though he was off the whole day and had not witnessed any of the things we were complaining about. The chef didn’t listen to our complaint because he said there were some foreigners here so he had to go check on them. We definitely felt like they were so worried about pleasing one party of two foreigners that they didn’t care about how we were treated. The chef and the restaurant staff really need to step it up. We travel to Aburadhapura every year and have yet to find such rude and disrespectful service from any of the hotels we have been to there.
