Tågvagnshotellet - Silleruds Station

I misread that this were not just twin beds, but twin bunk beds. We were traveling with 80+ year old parents who could not get into a top bunk bed and it appeared all the rooms only had bunk beds. We arrived at 5:45 PM and there was no one there to talk to. There was another couple who were guests and they said there were two rooms with keys in the door so they must be our rooms, but the owners would not be back until 8:00 am. This is not very good service if you ask me either. This place is is the middle of nowhere. It was a warm evening, the train was very hot and stuffy and there was no air conditioning and the rooms only had one window in each and the other guests said the windows only opened about 2 inches. Our parents also need to have air circulating/good ventilation or they have a hard time breathing. Needless to say we could not stay at this property so we had to go into Arjang and get rooms at the Hotel Arjang which were excellent beds with air conditioning and breakfast. Very upsetting to rent two rooms and pay for them and then finding out the place was not acceptable to stay at. Would not recommend.
